Total XRT 70 HDPE pellet Description 

XRT 70 is a high-density polyethylene resin pellet (PE100 HDPE material) produced by Total Energies specifically for the production of pressure pipes, has good high-temperature resistance and can be used to produce Type II PE-RT pipes. Total XRT 70 HDPE has excellent environmental stress cracking resistance and a minimum required stress (MRS) of 10 MPa, and can be used to produce conventional pressure pipes such as water supply pipes.

  • Good high temperature resistance.Unlike conventional PE100 pipes, Total XRT 70 HDPE material has good high temperature resistance and can maintain good mechanical properties at higher temperatures. It can be used to produce Type II PE-RT pipes for floor heating pipes.
  • Good processing performance.Total XRT 70 has a melting temperature of 0.7g/10min under a 190℃ 5kg test environment. It is suitable for extrusion molding and can be applied to most extrusion molding pipe production equipment. The wide bimodal molecular weight distribution structure provides good processing conditions and can be used in the production of small-diameter extrusion pipes to large-diameter extrusion pipes.
