Tarflon IR2200 is a high transparency polycarbonate (PC) plastic produced by Formosa Chemical Corporation Idemitsu Petrochemical Co., Ltd. It has a melt index of 11g, medium viscosity, high fluidity, and easy processing. IR2200 PC pellet is a food contact grade PC virgin raw material and can be used in the production of food contact packaging. Its high impact resistance and high purity make it suitable for the production of relay housings, contact lens cases, lampshades, LCD light guide plates, and other products, with a wide range of applications.pment, etc.

Idemitsu Tarflon IR2200 PC pellets Advantage

Food grade PC material. Idemitsu Tarflon IR2200 PC virgin pellets are food contact grade plastic materials. They meet food contact standards and are NSF/ANSI 51 certified. They can be used in disposable tableware, drinking water bottles, and other beverage and food-related applications.

Good impact resistance. Compared with conventional polycarbonate materials, Idemitsu Tarflon IR2200 PC has better impact resistance. The simple supported beam notched impact under ISO 179 test standard reaches 80kJ/㎡. Suitable for applications requiring high impact resistance such as water bottles, drinking water buckets, and glasses.

Good transparency. Idemitsu Tarflon IR2200 PC material has a transmittance of 85~90% under the ISO 113468 test standard, making it suitable for applications such as relay housings and lampshades that require high clarity and transparency.
