Eastman Tritan TX1001 PCTG pellet Description
TX1001 is a poly cyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate copolymer resin pellet produced by Eastman Chemical Company, also known as PCTG material. It has many advantages such as high transparency, high temperature resistance, not contain bisphenol A ingredients (BPA free), food grade, high toughness and impact resistance. EASTMAN Tritan TX1001 PCTG material is often used in the production of drinking water bottles, home appliance housings, etc.

Food grade plastic material. Tritan TX1001 PCTG material does not contain BPA ingredients, complies with relevant standards for food contact and has obtained multiple certification requirements from the US FDA, NSF/ANSI 51 for food equipment contact materials, and NSF/ANS/CAN 61 for drinking water system contact materials. It can be used in food packaging materials, food processing equipment, and drinking water packaging materials.

Tritan TX1001 produced by Eastman Chemical has excellent high temperature resistance. Compared with conventional PCTG materials, its high-temperature resistance is even better. Its heat deformation temperature reaches 99°C under a test environment of 0.45MPa, which is much higher than the 80°C of conventional PCTG materials. It is often used in the production of plastic kettles for high-temperature water applications.

Excellent optical properties and transparency. As a resin material comparable to glass, Tritan TX1001 PCTG material has a transmittance of 90% and a haze of only 1%. It can be used in the production of applications with high requirements for appearance properties and transparency.
