Tairilac is a general-purpose grade acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin pellet (ABS material) produced by Formosa Chemical & Fiber Corporation. It features a melt index of 23 (at 220°C, 10kg) and offers balanced mechanical properties and high gloos, suitable for manufacturing ABS products with high aesthetic requirements and a high-gloss finish.

- High gloss ABS material, Products manufactured using Tairilac AG15A1 ABS material feature a high gloss finish, making them suitable for toys, audio enclosures, suitcases, and other applications demanding superior aesthetic properties.
- Excellent machinability, Formosa Tairilac AG15A1 ABS exhibits a melt flow index (MFI) of 23g/10min under a 220°C, 10kg test environment. It possesses a moderate flow rate, making it suitable for injection molding processes. This grade is compatible with the vast majority of injection molding equipment and demonstrates broad adaptability to machine processing capabilities.
- Balanced mechanical properties. Tairilac AG15A1 ABS material offers moderate impact resistance. Under test conditions of 23°C and 6.4mm thickness, it achieves an Izod notch impact value of 220J/m. Its tensile strength, flexural strength, and flexural modulus all demonstrate excellent performance. This material is suitable for use in the vast majority of ABS product applications.
