Covestro Bayblend FR3010 PC/ABS pellets Description
Bayblend FR3010 PC alloy is a polycarbonate + acrylic butadiene styrene blend material (PC + ABS resin) produced by Covestro AG. Its melt index is 15 cm³/10 min(240℃ 5kg), making it suitable for injection molding. It contains release agent, making it easy to process, also contains flame retardant, achieving UL94 V-0, 5VA, and 5VB ratings, offering high heat resistance.

Covestro Bayblend FR3010 PC/ABS Advantage
- Stronger high temperature resistance. Compared with conventional polycarbonate materials, Baylend FR3010 PC/ABS material has better high temperature resistance. The heat deformation temperature under 1.8MPa test environment can reach 90℃, and the Vicat softening temperature under 50℃/hr 50N test environment can reach 108℃. Its good high temperature resistance makes it widely used in applications such as automotive parts and electrical housings that require heat dissipation.

Stronger impact resistance: Under 23°C test environment, the cantilever beam notched impact of Bayblend FR3010 PC/ABS alloy reaches 35kJ/㎡, and even under -30°C test environment, it can reach 10kJ/㎡, making it suitable for applications with higher impact resistance requirements.

The melt viscosity is 245 Pa·s at 260°C and 1000 s⁻¹. The high melt flow rate and medium viscosity processing conditions make it suitable for the production of precise and complex parts.
